Housed in what was originally a convent dating from 1869, the 130 year-old buildings were remodeled in 1987 to accommodate the present 4-star Hotel President. Located in a residential area of Florence, not far from the city centre, the President Hotel offers accommodation in a unique setting. 56 rooms are available and although they may vary in shape and size, they are all equipped with air-conditioning, satellite TV, direct dial telephone and personal safety box as standard. The President has retained many of the original features of the building, including the chapel, and offers extraordinary panoramic views of the city which are complemented by the verdant ambience of the hotel`s immediate surroundings.
